Brave kids need beads to tell their storyand you can help today with your gift.

For over 22 years, The Beads of Courage program has been helping children find strength and visualize their courage. Your gift will support and sustain this proven program that strengthens resilience, alleviates suffering, and improves the quality of life for children coping with cancer and other serious illnesses.

With your gift, you give hope and encouragement to children through the power of beads:

• You provide a voice without words: Beads become a visual storytelling tool that helps children see they can conquer challenges and share their storyone bead at a time.

You help them own their story of courage: The beads you help provide transform medical procedures and treatments into a visual testament to their strength and courage.

• You remind them they’re not alone: Your gift becomes a tangible symbol of care and connection for a child or teen in the hospital. You help children see that they are brave and can do hard things.

Your gift is providing beads for the Beads of Courage program to children in over 300 hospitals around the United States. You can honor courage, give hope, and help children coping with cancer and serious illness find joy.

When you give to Beads of Courage, you're using one of humanity's oldest art forms to create powerful symbols of healing. You empower children to tell their stories—one bead at a time. Not only helping the children themselves, but helping friends and family understand their challenges and showing kids they are truly supported.

Why Beads Matter

Just like ribbons and medals honor the courage of those serving in the armed forces, Beads of Courage honors the bravery of kids in a fight for life.

When you see a military official in full uniform, you stop, take notice, and thank them for their service. That's exactly what Beads of Courage does for children—every bead honors a moment they too must call upon courage.

Beads become medals of honor for battles fought with incredible bravery. You help children see that their fight matters and their courage deserves recognition.

When children look at their beads, you've given them proof that they can do hard things and reminders of their own courage to endure.

You can help make healing happen for brave kids—one bead, one story at a time.
