Phi Chi Pre-Medicine Fraternity at the University of Tennessee is proud to call Beads of Courage our chapter's Philanthropy.
We started Phi Chi Pre-Medicine Fraternity at the University of Tennessee with the goal of creating a community of future healthcare professionals who are dedicating themselves to a life of healing others. So, when we learned about Beads of Courage through East Tennessee Children's Hospital, we knew it was an organization we wanted to be a part of.
Each year, Beads of Courage helps tens of thousands of children cope with cancer and other serious illnesses around the world.
One program Beads of Courage runs is giving children beads for various accomplishments, including medical procedures, treatment milestones, overnight stays in the hospital, courses of radiation treatment, and many more. These beads are then put on a necklace which provides a physical symbol of a child's bravery and courage.
We are honored to support such an incredible cause and would love for you to help us do so!
