Let's combine our love for Taylor Swift with a mission that truly matters and make a real difference in the lives of thousands of hospitalized children.
As Swifties, we make and share beaded bracelets as symbols of love, friendship, and the unique bond we share through our love for Taylor Swift. Like the ones we gave you! These simple beads represent an invisible string connecting us all to Beads of Courage, an organization that uses the power of beads to support the mental health of children and teens in 400 hospitals around the world.
Children bravely fighting serious illnesses like pediatric cancer, congenital heart disease, or burn trauma receive a colorful bead for each procedure they endure. For example, a red bead represents a blood transfusion, while a yellow bead marks a night spent in the hospital. These beads, given by their medical team, provide a special moment for nurses to offer emotional support during treatment. Over time, these children string their beads together, creating a vibrant and powerful story of their courage, resilience, and strength.
By uniting these two worlds, we can extend our Swiftie love to kids who need it most.
