In 2011 I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. A cancer of the bone that resided in my right hip socket. For a year (my seventh grade of school), I underwent chemotherapy and radiation

Throughout that time, Beads of Courage helped me keep track of my journey and all that I went through. The kind people there helped bring me joy in the dark times with these colorful beads all meaning different things.

I am now 12 years cancer free, and I still have these beads and can use them to look back on what I have gone through.
