Together, we can encourage children coping with serious illness.
Beads of Courage was a significant part of the support system for our granddaughter Vienna during her treatment and recovery from childhood cancer (neuroblastoma). One of the beads I carry on my rides for this event will be passed on to a child in need as a reminder of courage and resilience in the face of hardship.
The main cycling event for this fundraiser will be the Hoodoo 500 Virtual Race (Aug 1 to 21), for which I will cycle 520 miles with 35,000 feet of elevation gain.
