Help me spread care, build courage, and support children overcome big obstacles.
For many of us, courage is a choice but for others it is required daily just to survive.
According to the American Cancer Society "About 9,910 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2023." These children face chronic pain and invasive treatments at a very young age. These children show unbelievable courage in facing their treatments and day-to-day life, and that kind of courage is not easy.
Beads of Courage hosts 10 different program types in 400 hospitals across 10 different countries. Their programs support children facing all kinds of chronic and serious illnesses throughout their journey.
Every dollar raised goes to helping a child throughout their journey- just $250 provides 4,000 beads for the flagship program. These funds help Beads of Courage sustain their programs that cross all areas of treatment and life, from coping with grief to aiding with mental health as well, Beads of Courage runs off our involvement to help children succeed.
