BEADS OF COURAGE 20TH ANNIVERSARY - BEADS MAKE IT BETTER
Did you know the very first Beads of Courage program debuted in 2003? That makes 2023 our 20th anniversary and we invite you to celebrate with us all year long!
From a tiny start-up in Tucson, Arizona to a worldwide initiative, Beads of Courage is now the standard of care in more than 400 children's hospitals in 10 countries, providing arts-in-medicine supportive care programs to 60,000 children on any given day.
This year marks a turning point for Beads of Courage, as we unveil our new Donor Hall of Fame and raise the funds we need to continue to serve our mission of hope and healing for kids coping with serious illness.
Your help is urgently needed to reach our 20th Anniversary Sustaining Program Funds goal of $500,000 this year, which includes $100,000 to support and sustain each of our five core arts-in-medicine programs:
