Together, we can encourage children to cope with serious illness with every step, stride, hill climb, and every lap we swim!
I decided to participate in this challenge because I believe strongly in the program. A very close friend of mine's grandson is regularly hospitalized for procedures and has been blessed by receiving beads. Beads and their use in jewelry making is near and dear to my heart. I taught myself how to make bracelets to heal from the loss of my sister who was an avid beader and jewelry creator. Now, I make and donate suicide and other awareness pieces. Beading healed my heart and I want to give back to others by supporting Beads of Courage.
