Lennon has overcome so much in the first few years of her life. Beads of Courage has created a visual representation, a way to visually quantify, the strength and courage she shows while dealing with things no four-year-old should have to. Each bead represents all Lennon has overcome living with a rare genetic disorder. From birth, Lennon has endured countless wound changes (she was born with extremely fragile skin prone to blistering and tears) pokes, ×-rays, inpatient stays, IND medication, surgeries and more. Thank you BOC for providing us this beautiful representation of her courage, strength and determination. Lennon is on her way to 3,000 Beads of Courage!
